Briefly, no. We might not publish work if we consider it to be too obscene or inappropriate for an undergraduate publication, but other than that, we accept a wide variety of mediums, genres, themes, and subject matter.
You can take a glance at the past volumes to see the range of work that has been submitted in the past. If there are any other questions, feel free to contact us via the contact page or email.

Tamarind accepts work from University of The Bahamas students, faculty, and alumni. Aside from that, there are no rules or restrictions. You don’t need to be in the School of English, or have a minimum GPA, or anything like that.

If you’d like your work to be published in the upcoming edition of Tamarind, then the deadline is usually in the first couple weeks of the Fall semester.
However, submissions are always open for the online library, if you’d simply like your work to be published online.
