Finding You
Hale, now an adult with a glow up that enhances the essence of her beauty, is uniquely fitted and stunning from any perspective, both in beauty and complexity. She embraces her light skin ethnicity, beneath her radiant exterior, she carries an unresolved weight. As a child Hale was adopted by her parents, and was able to experience a loving upbringing. Hale never knew her biological parents, but her current life, with her two children, Ethan age 10 and Iris age 8, was everything she ever dreamed of. They are her world, her purpose.
One stormy night after putting her children to bed, thunder clashed drastically as the sound was meticulous and lightning struck in the midst of nowhere. Current blew out in a flash, electricity charged through the walls, silently turning on without compromise. Hale goes through various motions, feeling trapped, a sharp uncontrollable pain tore through her, taking complete and utter control of her movements. Every bone in her body broke into millions of pieces, Hale collapsed, her body convulsing in spasms and transformed into an animal. Frightened, she bolted out the open door, feeling immense hunger as her senses were overwhelmed.
Morning arose, Hale awoke and found herself in an unfamiliar, secluded landscape, with evergreen nature surrounded, sounds of birds chirping in great distance, a dense forest surrounding a tranquil/rippling river. Confusion clouded her mind. Was it all a dream? Once more her body involuntarily began to shift, memories flooded back. Her wolf form felt natural, yet hauntingly unfamiliar.
Hale arrived home, startled, envisioning life to a perspective she never once thought, her mind wanders in various directions trying to find a statistical reason as to what was happening and why. A mirror she sees a split version of herself, a broken image that was once whole. Weeks passed, Hale struggled with the curation of her role as both a mother and a creature of the night. Again, she felt her body turning, her loss of control became evident of her transformation. Hale told her children, "Mother will be back. Take care of each other." She fled into the woods, her body wracked with pain as she shifted, the scream of her transformation echoing through the trees became deafening. Her wolf form emerged, a sense of freedom washed over her. She ran wild, releasing every constraint, her spirit soaring, not bound to expectations.
A howl in the distance roamed around her environment became recognizable of which the wolf embodied. Hale followed the sound, her instincts guiding her to another wolf. Astonishingly, the two locked eyes. The wolf seemed to know her. Hale felt an inexplicable pull, a strange bond forming in the air. The hunger surged again, and she darted away into the forest.
Another morning arose, Hale woke up in transition of a bolt of electricity disoriented and aching. However, she was not alone. The wolf she encountered in the forest stood before her. The connection between them was a force that transcended time. She whispered the name of the place where she woke, the Bayou. Suddenly, wolves emerged from the trees, shifting into human forms, their faces unknown. They introduced themselves as part of her pack. With them, Hale uncovered the truth: she was a Crescent Werewolf, an Alpha. The revelation sent shockwaves through her, but she was not alone.
Years passed, Hale embraced her newfound role with a fierce determination, balancing her family life and responsibilities as an Alpha. Her children, Ethan and Iris, were her priority. Ethan, now a teenager, was a curious soul, always questioning, always seeking answers. Iris, younger and more intuitive, seemed to understand the weight of her mother's dual life, often sitting quietly by Hale’s side during moonlit nights, sensing changes before anyone else.
Hale led her pack with wisdom, using guidance from her wolf’s ancient teachings. She worked tirelessly to build a future for her children, one where they could live without fear in a vicious world that often hunted their kind. The time would come when she would reveal the truth to Ethan and Iris. Until then, she would continue to protect them, to balance the beast inside her, being a mother who loved them more than anything in the world. Her journey was far from over, her pack, her children, and the legacy of the Crescent Werewolf that now ran through her veins.
