Watch the Sunset with Me

Can you tell the seasons change, my dear?

For I want nothing more than to see you

Sitting on the sandy shore while seagulls near

Gliding over and above the deep bright blue

Mirror before us, the waves crashing against the rocks.

Pondering about the feelings inside, are they true?

Truth is that your love for me is the key to this lock

Buried inside the wet, cold burrows along the shore

Lies secrets untold, no matter who were to knock.

But you may ask, how can I know for sure?

“If it’s meant to be, it will be”, said cliché,

Like the waves always find their way to the shores.
