A Tribute to Teachers

They're often pushed aside,
No reason given, no care applied.
Disrespected, hated, misunderstood,
Underestimated, some say overrated
But trust me, they'll never be outdated.

The tears, the headaches, the sleepless nights,
Creating lessons, making sure they're right,
All for the children.
Without them, where would we find our way?

A teacher isn't just a teacher.
They're a mother, a father, a protector,
A guardian angel in the quiet of night,
And in the morning, they help us see the light.

Teaching is a gift.
To open a mind, to touch a heart.
It starts with a teacher and ends with a teacher.
