The Magnificence of Temptation

In shadows deep, where darkness takes its throne,
There blooms a rose with petals dipped in sin.
Its beauty, like a siren's haunting tone,
Beguiles the soul, where wickedness begins.

Each thorn a dagger, poised to draw blood's sigh,
Yet fools are drawn to touch its deadly grace.
Enraptured by its lure, they dare defy
The warnings whispered by the wise to brace.

For evil wears, a mask of beauty bright,
A captivating, mesmerizing guise.
It blinds the eyes to truth, distorts the sight,
And leads the heart where virtue slowly dies.

Beware the charms of beauty, fair yet cruel,
For in its depths lies darkness, sharp and cruel.
