Spring’s Awakening

The First Rush
The earth stirs awake from its sleep,
Gentle sprouts rise, eager to leap.
Colors explode like joy all around,
In each flower, love can be found.

The winds carry secrets yet to be shared,
Birds sing sweetly, and hearts are prepared
For fresh starts, shining and clear—
The first hint of love drawing near.

Beneath the ground, roots intertwine,
Silent battles that love must define,
Yet through the prickles and quivering greens,
Love comes alive, and the heart dreams.
