As Time Unfolds
The clock ticks softly, marking endless days,
Its steady hands turn years to memories.
The sun that once shone bright now hides its rays,
And shadows stretch beneath the autumn trees.
Each fleeting hour, a whisper in the wind,
Leaves fade from green to brown, then fall away.
The child I was, now lost in thoughts that blend,
With echoes of a past that cannot stay.
Yet in this change, there's beauty to be found,
A dance of light and dark, of joy and pain.
Though youth is gone, new wisdom does abound,
As seasons turn, their lessons still remain.
So let the moments pass without regret,
For time will teach us things we can't forget.
