Dear Teenage Years
I’ve experienced the lowest frequency of love, but also the highest,
Was taken for granted blindly and knowingly as well,
Thought life couldn’t get any worse, but went through my proudest moments,
Passed through friends like flipping pages in vogue magazine,
but creased the ends of a few because they mattered,
I learned to play hardest because life always play harder,
Lesson well thought to never expect myself in others,
Allowing myself to go through phases was the best part of it all,
But now I’ve recognized that life has just begun for me and my teens was the blueprint to it all.
