Veil of Tomorrow

The horizon stretches, a gossamer veil,
Concealing secrets yet to unfold.
The future tiptoes on the edge of dawn,
Its footsteps silent, its face obscured.
We stand at the precipice, hearts racing,
Yearning for glimpses beyond the veil.
Will it cradle us in warmth or chill our bones?
Only time knows, and it remains aloof.
Now we dream—of sunrises and shooting stars,
Of paths diverging, intertwining.
And perhaps the greatest mystery lies here—
In the dance between choice and destiny.
